I'm sorry to all of you who follow my blog - I have been failing horribly at updating it! Not sure if I will get any better or not.
We've had a busy January. Soccer and swimming are back in session. Our weekends are completely booked these days. And perhaps the biggest thing that happened is that James resigned from his position at his advertising agency earlier in the month, and is busy starting up his own company. He has been working out of the house the past few weeks now. He and his partner have several clients already... and I know they will be successful. Just a tad stressful at the moment though. :)
I'm looking through our pictures to see if I have any to share, but they are either on my camera still or I haven't taken that many. It's probably more like I haven't taken many.
Austin turned 9 on the 1st. I can't believe I have a nine year old. Where does the time go? He had a few friends over for a sleepover and they had a blast. His new favorite thing is his Nintendo DS he received. We've had to put limits on it or else he would play the thing 24 hours a day. The other kiddos are pretty infatuated with it also.
Austin also placed 4th in the district UIL competition a few weeks ago!
Well that's all for now. Sorry again... and hopefully I'll be able to post again soon! Hope you all have a blessed week!

Decorating cookies
It's been awhile! Happy New Year! We had a wonderful Christmas and New Year. Life has been busy.
I was headed to the gym this morning, but turned around and came back home - it was storming terribly and there were tornado warnings. So I figured I wouldn't risk our lives this morning. We came home and Cole is actually content watching tv at the moment (gotta love Bubble Guppies). He usually will not leave my side. So guess I have no excuse at the moment not to update the blog.
Here are the older ones making our annual Christmas cookies.
I tried to pose them like this b/c I think one of my favorite pictures of all time is from 2 years ago. It makes me laugh every single time!
Oh - how they've grown! Not as funny this year, but I won't stop trying :)
Then Abby decided to put her wet hand in the flour
they all thought that was hilarious
and had to do it themselves. I wonder if my kids are the only ones that actually enjoy the taste of flour by itself? Gross. The flour then got poured in the trash.
They had fun decorating the cookies a few days later with friends!
